Louis Group, a global consultancy firm, aims to cultivate elite international lawyers by promoting talent exchange and case collaboration among its offices in Taipei, Taichung, Tokyo, Bangkok, and Hanoi. The initiative helps lawyers broaden their international perspective, strengthen their capabilities, and enhance their language skills. By implementing remote working, local exchanges, collaborative case handling, and shared experiences, the lawyers will be able to integrate cross-border, cross-fields, cross-language, and cross-cultural factors into their future case experiences.
Louis group’s CEO, Attorney Raymond Yu, emphasizes that in addition to meticulous talent recruitment and deployment, a systematic approach to relocating talent among various offices is essential. By allowing partners to deeply immerse themselves in local environments and tackle complex international legal cases, a top-notch international business lawyer team can be created.
In January 2023, the collaboration between Taiwan and Thailand commenced, with two partner lawyers from Louis & Partners Thailand (Bangkok) arriving at the Taipei headquarters to jointly handle real estate cases. In February, a partner from Louis & Charles Taichung office moved to the Bangkok office to work with Thai lawyers on intellectual property cases involving trademarks and copyrights. In March, a Taiwanese lawyer from the Japanese division of Louis & Charles Taipei office joined the Tokyo office to participate in a special project. In April, the CEO, Attorney Raymond Yu, stationed himself at the Hanoi office in Vietnam to assist Taiwanese businesses with their cases.
The purpose of the Global Winds Project is to deepen the cooperation among various teams, while simultaneously enhancing legal expertise and cross-border business skills. By upholding the Louis Group’s highest service standards, the project aims to propel elite lawyers onto the international stage and connect them with the world.
